2 killed, at least 22 wounded as gunmen attack a club in Florida

A group of armed men attacked a club in Florida killing at least two people and wounding at least 22 others, the police said.

Alfredo Ramirez III, the director of Miami-Dade Police, said the incident took place between 12 am and 1 am local time on Sunday.

According to Ramirez, at least three people stepped out of a white Nissan Pathfinder vehicle and indiscriminately opened fire into the crow, killing at least 2 people.

“I am at the scene of another targeted and cowardly act of gun violence, where over 20 victims were shot and 2 have sadly died. These are cold blooded murderers that shot indiscriminately into a crowd and we will seek justice. My deepest condolences to the family of the victims,” Ramirez said in a Twitter post.

The Miami-Dade County Police said “Detectives are seeking the assistance of the community with any information, to include the identity/whereabouts of the individuals responsible for this act.”
