Alberta reports over 400 COVID-19 cases and 3 additional


The Alberta Health reported over 400 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours.

Alberta’s top doctor, Dr. Hinshaw, said around 9,700 tests were completed in the last 24 hours.

Dr. Hinshaw further added that the health authorities identified 412 new cases.

“Sadly, 3 new deaths related to COVID-19 were reported to Alberta Health in the last 24 hours,” she added.

Dr. Hinshaw also added that 516 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Alberta.

According to Dr. Hinshaw, of the 416 non-ICU, 71.9% are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated.

Of the 100 in ICU, 84% are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, Dr.Hunshaw said.

The Alberta Health on Tuesday reported 321 COVID-19 cases and 13 additional deaths over 24-hour period.
