Bill Clinton admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with an infection


The former US President Bill Clinton was admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with an infection.

Angel Urena, a spokesperson for Bill Clinton, said the former President was admitted to UCI Medical Center to receive treatment for non-Covid-related infection.

“He is on the mend, in good spirits, and is incredibly thankful to the doctors, nurses, and staff providing him with excellent care,” Angel Urena added.

Meanwhile, Dr. Alpesh Ain and Dr. Lisa Bardak, issued a joint statement, saying “President Clinton was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center and diagnosed with an infection. He was admitted to the hospital for close monitoring and administer IV antibiotics and fluids.”

“He remaisn at hospital for continuous monitoring. After two days of treatment, his white blood cell count is trending down and he is responding to anti-biotics well,” the statement added.

The doctors also added that the California-based medical team has been in constant communication with the President’s New York-based medical team, including his cardiologist.
