The Toronto Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with a fatal shooting which occurred earlier in July last year.
“On Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 6:03 p.m., officers responded to a radio call for a shooting at 11 Antrim Crescent,” the Toronto Police said in a statement.
The statement further added that the officers arrived and located a male suffering serious injuries.
The officers assisted with an emergency run to hospital, the Toronto Police said, adding that the victim succumbed to his injuries in hospital and was pronounced deceased.
The Toronto Police also added that the victim has been identified as Caden Francis, 16, of Toronto.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Police, said the officers arrested a teenager on Friday, February 4, 2022, in relation to the shooting and charged him with First Degree Murder.
He will attend court at Old City Hall, Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 10 a.m., the Toronto Police added.
