Calgary Police charge massage therapist with one count of sexual assault

The Calgary Police announced Tuesday that their investigators have charged a massage therapist with one count of sexual assault.

In early September, a woman reported to police that she had been sexually assaulted during a massage, the Calgary Police said in a statement.

The assault is believed to have occurred during a treatment which took place at Massage Heights Signal Hill Center, located at 5957 Signal Hill Centre S.W.

As a result of this investigation, Maxim KLIMOV, 27, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of sexual assault. He will next appear in court on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021.

The Calgary Police also added that there is no statute of limitations on criminal sexual offences in Canada and we encourage anyone who has been a victim of a serious crime to report it, even if many years have passed since the incident.
