Canada beats Haiti 1-0 in FIFA World Cup Qualifier

Cyle Larin hit the only goal for the Canadian team during the first half of the game.

Canada had earlier defeated Suriname 4-0 and Aruba 7-0 during the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Today’s game was played as part of the two-legged series, being played in Second Round of CONCACAF Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Canada will once again face Haiti during the second game of the two-legged series on 15th of June.

Meanwhile, El Salvador is facing Saint Kitts and Nevis and Panama is facing and Curaçao during in Leg 1 of the Second Round of CONCACAF Qualifiers for FIFA World Cup.

Three winners from the second round will advance to Third Round to play round-robin matches together with the top five CONCACAF teams based on the FIFA rankings of July 2020.

Only the top three teams out of 8 will qualify for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
