Canada defeats Martinique 4-1 in CONCACAF Gold up

Played in Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City, Emanuel Riviere of Martinique opened the score during the 10th minute of the first half, giving his team 1-0 lead.

However, Cyle Larin leveled the score by hitting the first goal for Canada 6 minutes later while Jonathan Osorio gave Canada 2-1 lead by hitting a goal four minutes later.

Furthermore, Stephen Eustaquio, hit the third goal during the 26th minute of the first half and Theo Corbeanu scored the fourth goal during the 89th minute of the second half to conclude the game 4-1 in Canada’s favour.

The Canadian team will play their second match group match against Haiti on 15th of July.
