Canada on Wednesday reported 727 new positive cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 21 additional deaths over a period of 24 hours.
The Health Canada and Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) released the latest Daily Epidemiological Report late on Wednesday, stating that 7 provinces and a territory in the Northwest, reported 727 positive cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
British Columbia reported 87 cases and 1 additional death while Alberta reported 92 cases and 2 additional deaths, and Saskatchewan 34 and 1 additional death.
Manitoba reported 123 and 3 additional deaths, Ontario reported 255 new cases and 11 additional deaths, Quebec reported 127 new cases and 3 additional deaths, while New Brunswick reported 1 new case and 0 additional deaths.
Meanwhile, Yukon was only the province in Northwest which reported 8 new cases but 0 deaths while the two other territories, Northwest Territories and Nunavut reported 0 new cases and no additional deaths.
Furthermore, Prince Edward Island did not provide any daily update regarding the new cases and additional deaths in the past 24 hours.
