Canada’s head coach Lisa Thomaidis said “That was such a great game for us, to challenge ourselves against a tough Brazil team.”
Thomaidis further added “I thought they did a great job at taking us out of some of our things, so it really forced us to have to try to get to a plan B.”
This comes as Canada recorded a dominant 101-41 victory over the U.S. Virgin Islands in their opening match of the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2021 on Wednesday.
Canada will face El Salvador during their third game of the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2021 tomorrow, Monday, June 14.
