COVID-19: Ontario reports 326 new cases, 0 additional deaths in past 24 hour


The Ontario Health on Monday reported 326 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24-hour period.

Christine Elliott, Ontario’s Minister of Health, said the Ontario Health identified 231 cases in individuals who are unvaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.

Elliott further added that 95 cases were identified in fully vaccinated individuals.

She also added that 163 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, and 138 are being treated in Intensive Care Unit.

In Ontario, 22,394,887 vaccine doses have been administered. Nearly 87.9% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and nearly 83.9% have two doses.

The Ontario Health on Sunday reported 370 cases of COVID-19 and 1 additional death over over a 24-hour period.
