Quebec is reporting 490 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and two additional deaths in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said the health authorities collected 21,437 samples and identified 490 positive cases.
The ministry reported a slight increase in hospitalizations in the past 24 hours, adding that 250 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 71 people are in Intensive Care Unit.
22 people were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours while 16 others were discharged, the ministry said, adding that 8 person was admitted in Intensive Care Unit, while 4 others were discharged.
Quebec’s health ministry also added that six people died of the virus in the las 24 hours, for a total of 11,496 deaths
Meanwhile, 10,759 doses administered are added, i.e. 10,063 in the last 24 hours and 696 before November 1, for a total of 13,260,203 doses administered in Quebec.
Outside Quebec, a total of 218,723 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,478,926 doses received by Quebecers.
