Saskatchewan reported 425 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 4 additional deaths in the last 24 hours.
13 of the new cases were identified in Far North West, 13 in Far North East, 57 in North West, 39 in North Central, 10 in North East, 115 in Saskatoon, 12 in Central West, 35 in Central East, 49 in Regina, 21 in South West, 12 in South Central, and 40 in South East (40) zones.
As of October 11th, a total of 347 individuals are hospitalized; including 268 inpatient hospitalizations, and 79 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 347 patients, 260 (74.7%) were not fully vaccinated.
Four new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, the Government of Saskatchewan said, adding that 751 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died with a case fatality rate of 1.0%
Saskatchewan on Sunday reported 507 new cases of COVID-19 and 1 additional death over a 24-hour period.
