COVID-19: Saskatchewan reports 97 new cases and 2 deaths on Monday


Saskatchewan is reporting 97 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24-hour period.

“As of November 15th, there are 97 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 79,594 reported cases,” the Saskatchewan Government said in a statement.

The new cases are located in the North West (9), North Central (16), Saskatoon (22), Central West (2), Central East (4), Regina (17), South West (3), South Central (14) and South East (8) zones and two (2) new cases have pending residence information.

1,201 cases are considered active and 77,497 cases are considered recovered, the Saskatchewan Government said, adding that total of 171 individuals are hospitalized, including 126 inpatient hospitalizations, and 45 ICU hospitalizations.

Of the 171 patients, 112 (65.5%) were not fully vaccinated.

The Saskatchewan Government also added that two new deaths reported today. 896 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died with a case fatality rate of 1.1 percent.
