A Taliban official confirmed that the first blast took place in West of Kabul city, leaving one dead and six ohters wounded.
Syed Khosti, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, said the explosion occurred after explosives planted in a vehicle went off in Naqash area.
The second explosion took place in Karte Seh area of Kabul city, moments after the first blast.
There are no reports available regarding the casualties due to the second explosion.
However, a Taliban official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, has told Reuters that seven people were killed and 9 others were wounded in the explosions.
This comes as two people were wounded in an explosion in Kabul city on Monday.
