Lightning defeat Canadiens in 5th game, win Stanley Cup for the 2nd straight year

The Lightning won the Stanley Cup for the second straight year with tonight’s win, leading the series 4-1.

Played in Amalie Arena, Ross Colton of the Lightning opened the score during the 13th minute of the second period after the two teams ended the first period with no goals scored.

Following a goalless third period, the Lightning clinched the 2021 Stanley by securing a 1-0 victory during the fifth game after leading the series 4-1.
