Man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds succumbs to injuries: Toronto Police


The Toronto Police announced late on Monday that a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds succumbed to his injuries.

“On Monday, June 21, 2021, at 12:36 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the Clearview Heights and Trethewey Drive area,” the Toronto Police said in a statement.

The statement further added that officers arrived on scene and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

“Lifesaving efforts were attempted, however the man succumbed to his injuries, and was pronounced deceased on scene,” the Toronto Police said, adding that the man has been identified as Diquan Olive-Service, 27, of Toronto.

The Toronto Police also added that investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting to contact them.
