Montreal Police arrest suspect in relation to August shooting that left 3 dead, 2 injured

The Montreal Police announced Tuesday they have arrested an additional suspect in relation to August shooting that left three people dead and two others injured.

According to a statement released by Montreal Police, the Major Crimes Section of Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) arrested the fourth suspect.

The statement further added that the 21-year-old suspect will appear at the Montreal Courthouse on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

The incident occurred around 7 pm local time, on August 2, 2021, after a group of armed individuals opened fire in the direction of an apartment on Boulevard Perras, near 53 Avenue.

The Montreal Police had earlier arrested Clifford Domercant-Barosy, 26, Marlon Francisco Villa-Guzman, 25, and Jonas Castor, 23, in connection with the shooting.

The arrests were made during the month of October in Laval and Montreal-North, the Montreal Police added.

The police investigation is continuing in order to identify other individuals involved in the shooting. Anyone with information can contact 911 or their neighborhood station.
