One new COVID-19 related death, 96 cases reported in Saskatchewan


Saskatchewan is reporting one new death related to COVID-19 and 96 new cases of the virus on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

The new cases are located in the Far North East (2), North West (5), North Central (3), North East (3), Saskatoon (12), Central West (1), Central East (19), Regina (20), South West (6), South Central (5), and South East (19) zones and one (1) new case has pending residence information, the Saskatchewan Government said in a statement.

The statement further added that 993 cases are considered active and 78,759 cases are considered recovered.

As of November 25, a total of 142 individuals are hospitalized, including 104 inpatient hospitalizations, and 38 ICU hospitalizations, the Saskatchewan Government said, adding that of the 142 patients, 98 (69.0%) were not fully vaccinated.

The Saskatchewan Government also added that one new death reported today. 915 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
