The authorities in Quebec and Ontario on Friday reported 13 new deaths to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest COVID-19 data released by Ontario Health, 11 people died of the virus over a 24-hour period.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec, reported that two people died of the virus in the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the province to 11,349.
The Ontario Health also reported 727 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours while Quebec reported 701 new cases.
308 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Ontario while 193 others are receiving treatment in Intensive Care Units.
Similarly, 298 people are hospitalized due ot COVID-19 in Quebec and 91 people are being treated in Intensive Care Units.
