The Ontario Health on Tuesday reported 331 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24-hour period.
Christine Elliott, Ontario’s Minister of Health, said the Ontario Health identified 195 cases in individuals who are unvaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
Elliott further added that 136 cases were identified in fully vaccinated individuals.
She also added that 230 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, and 136 are being treated in Intensive Care Unit.
185 non-ICU patients are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 45 are fully vaccinated, and 122 in ICU are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 14 are fully vaccinated.
In Ontario, 22,535,918 vaccine doses have been administered. 88.2% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and 84.6% have two doses.
The Ontario Health on Monday reported 422 COVID-19 cases and 3 additional deaths.
