Ontario reports 356 COVID-19 cases and 4 additional death in past 24 hours


The Ontario Health reported 356 new case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 4 additional deaths on Saturday.

Christine Elliott, Ontario’s Minister of Health, said 264 of the new cases were identified in individuals who are fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination.

Elliott further added that the remaining 126 cases were identified in fully vaccinated individuals.

She also added that 213 people are in hospital due to COVID-19, including 177 people are who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.

132 people are in Intensive Care Unit with 119 of them being not fully vaccinated or having an unknown vaccination status.

In Ontario, 22,498,977 vaccine doses have been administered. 88.1% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and 84.4% have two doses.
