Ontario reports 373 new COVID-19 cases and 6 additional deaths


The Ontario Health reported 373 new case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 6 additional deaths on Saturday.

Christine Elliott, Ontario’s Minister of Health, said 264 of the new cases were identified in individuals who are fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination.

Elliott further added that the remaining 109 cases were identified in fully vaccinated individuals.

She also added that 269 people are in hospital due to COVID-19, including 233 people are who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.

136 people are in Intensive Care Unit with 120 not fully vaccinated or having an unknown vaccination status.

In Ontario, 22,365,905 vaccine doses have been administered. 87.8% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and 83.7% have two doses.
