Ontario reports 476 new COVID-19 cases, 14 additional deaths


The Ontario Health on Wednesday reported 476 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 11 additional deaths over a 24-hour period.

Christine Elliott, Ontario’s Minister of Health, said 335 of the new cases have been identified in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.

Elliott further added that the remaining 141 cases have been identified in fully vaccinated individuals.

She also added that 280 people are hospitalized with COVID019.

Furthermore, Elliott said 156 people are in ICU due to COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Elliott, said 21,948,953  vaccine doses have been administered in Ontario so far.
