Police identify victims killed in Toronto shooting


The Toronto Police identified the victims of a fatal shooting which happened late on Monday in the vicinity of 150 Thirtieth Street.

“On Monday, January 3, 2022, at 8:45 p.m., police responded to a radio call for a shooting at 150 Thirtieth Street,” the Toronto Police said in a statement.

The statement further added that the police arrived on scene and located two men suffering from gunshot wounds, and a woman nearby with injuries

The two men and woman were taken to hospital, the Toronto Police said, adding that the two men succumbed to their injuries in hospital and were pronounced deceased.

The Toronto Police also added that the woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Police, said the two deceased men have been identified as Minyali Wur, 24, of Mississauga and Chudier Reat, 20, of Mississauga.

The Toronto Police say investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information concerning this investigation, or have dash camera or video surveillance of the area.
