Prince Cameron, 21, of Toronto, arrested in connection with fatal shooting at Eglinton Avenue


The Toronto Police arrested Prince Cameron, 21, in a connection with a fatal shooting which occurred at Eglinton Avenur West last week.

The Toronto Poluce said the officers arrested Cameron on Friday, October 29, 2021, and charged him with first degree murder.

He will be attending court at Old City Hall on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10 a.m., in room 112.

The fatal shooting took place last Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 2:20 a.m.

According to Toronto Police, the officers responded to a call for a shooting at 2591 Eglinton Avenue West, and located a 36-year-old man in an apartment unit who had been shot

The officers commenced life-saving measures. However, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene

The victim has been identified as Donald Leroy “Smokey” Marson, 36, of Toronto.
