Quebec reports 15,293 new cases of COVID-19


Quebec is reporting over 15,293 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24 hour period.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec announces Monday that the health authorities have identified 15,283 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The ministry also reported that 15 additional deaths were also reported due to COVID-19.

A total of 1,396 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Quebec. There was an increase of 165 in overall hospitalizations.

Currently, 1,215 people are being treated in non-ICU wards for COVID-19, an increase of 146 as compared to the previous day.

181 individuals are receiving treatment for COVID-19 in Intensive Care Unit, an increase of 19 as compared to Saturday.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec on Sunday reported 15,745 new cases of COVID-19 and 13 additional deaths.
