Quebec is reporting over 15,800 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24 hour period.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec announces Sunday that the health authorities have identified 15,845 new cases in the past 24 hours.
The ministry also reported that 13 additional deaths were also reported due to COVID-19.
A total of 1,231 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Quebec. There was an increase of 70 in overall hospitalizations.
Currently, 1,069 people are being treated in non-ICU wards for COVID-19, an increase of 61 as compared to the previous day.
162 individuals are receiving treatment for COVID-19 in Intensive Care Unit, an increase of nine as compared to Friday.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec on Saturday reported 17,122 new cases of COVID-19 and 8 additional deaths.
