Quebec is reporting 324 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 5 additional deaths in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec in a statement said the new cases were identified after collecting 20,676 samples.
The statement further added that 259 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19, which shows an increase of 9 compared to the previous day.
23 people were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours while 14 others were discharged.
The ministry also reported a slight increase in Intensive Care Unit admissions, saying 69 people are being treated in ICU, an increase of 4 compared to the previous day.
4,499 doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered are added, including 4,178 in the last 24 hours and 321 before October 24, for a total of 13,175,853 doses administered in Quebec.
Outside Quebec, a total of 213,736 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,389,589 doses received by Quebecers.
