Quebec is reporting 511 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and two additional deaths in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said the health authorities collected 20,808 samples and identified 497 positive cases.
The ministry further added that 244 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 67 people are in Intensive Care Unit.
19 people were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours while 11 others were discharged, the ministry said, adding that 8 person was admitted in Intensive Care Unit, while 3 others were discharged.
Quebec’s health ministry also added that two person died of the virus in the las 24 hours, for a total of 11,496 deaths
Meanwhile, 3,481 doses of COVID vaccine were administered, 3,241 in the last 24 hours and 240 before October 31, for a total of 13,249,444 doses administered in Quebec.
Outside Quebec, a total of 218,285 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,467,729 doses received by Quebecers.
