Quebec is reporting 643 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and six additional deaths in the pas 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec in a statement said 35,307 samples were taken over a 24-hour period and 643 new cases were identified.
The statement further added that 35 people were admitted to hospital due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours while 36 others were discharged.
Currently, 310 people are being treated for COVID-19 in the hospital, the Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said.
Similarly, 84 people are being treated in Intensive Care Unit, the ministry said, adding that 13 people were discharged from ICU in the last 24 hours and 6 more people were admitted.
