Quebec reports 663 new cases of COVID-19 and 4 additional deaths in past 24 hours


Quebec is reporting 663 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and four additional deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said Thursday 32,192 samples were taken on November 9, out of which 663 new cases were identified.

The province also reported 4 new deaths on Thursday, increasing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 11,533 since the beginning of pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, said 215 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Quebec.

The ministry also added that 42 people are receiving treatment for COVID-19 in Intensive Care Unit.

14,601 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered, including 13,545 in the last 24 hours, and 1,056 before November 10, for a total of 13,365,365 doses administered in Quebec so far.

Quebec on Wednesday reported 672 cases and 1 additional death over a 24-hour period.
