Quebec is reporting 672 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and one additional death in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said the health authorities collected 30,399 samples and identified 672 positive cases.
The province reported a slight increase in hospitalizations on Wednesday. There are currently 220 people hospitalized due to COVID-19, an increase of 1 compared to the previous day.
The number remained stable in Intensive Care Unit where 45 people are receiving treatment, the Ministry of Health and Social Services added.
Eighteen people were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours while 17 others were discharged, the ministry said, adding that 2 people were admitted to Intensive Care Unit, while two others were discharged.
Quebec’s health ministry also added that one additional death was reported in the las 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 11,261 doses of COVID-19 were administered, including 10,487 in the last 24 hours and 774 before November 9, for a total of 13,350,764 doses administered in Quebec.
Quebec on Tuesday reported 545 cases of COVID-19 and 6 additional deaths over a 24-hour period.
