The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec on Tuesday announced that 10,573 new cases of COVID-19 were identified in the last 24 hours.
The Quebec Health also reported 62 additional deaths due to COVID-19 during the period.
A total of 2,742 people are currently hospitalized in Quebec due to COVID. There was an increase of 188 in overall hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.
In Intensive Care Unit, a total of 255 individuals are being treated for a COVID-19, am increase of 7 as compared to previous day.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec also added that 100,758 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered, including 97,295 in the last 24 hours and 3,463 before January 10, for a total of 15,853,252 doses administered in Quebec.
Outside Quebec, a total of 255,780 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 16,109,032 doses received by Quebecers.
The Quebec Health on Monday reported 10,573 new cases of COVID-19 and 26 additional deaths due to the virus over a 24 hour period.
