Quebec reports lowest rise in daily COVID-19 cases since September 2020


Quebec has reported 346 new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours, its lowest daily rise in infections since September last year.

The lowest daily rise of 297 cases was previously reported on 17th of September 2020.

The Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux released the latest data earlier today, reporting no additional deaths during the period.

The ministry also added that hospitalizations have decreased across the province. Currently, 415 people are hospitalized across the province with 101 of them in ICU.

Meanwhile, 54,447 doses of vaccine were administered including 50,934 doses in the last 24 hours and 3,513 doses before May 24, increasing the total number of vaccinations to 5,051,681.
