Quebec reports over 2,000 new COVID-19 cases and 6 additional deaths

Quebec is reporting over 2,000 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24-hour period.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec in a statement said 2,013 new cases were identified in the province in last 24 hoirs, incrrasing the total of infex5ions to 462,246 since the beginning of Pandemic.

The statement further added that 256 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19, an increase of 1 compared to the previous day.

Currently, 62 people in intensive care, an increase of 2 compared to Thursday.

The ministry also added that 35,552 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered, including 34,390 in the last 24 hours and 1,162 before December 9, for a total of 13,898,636 doses administered in Quebec.

The Qurbec Health on Thursday reported 1,807 new cases of COVID-19 and one additional death over a 24 hour period.
