Quebec reports over 700 COVID-19 cases with no additional deaths


Quebec is reporting 718 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) but no additional deaths in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said Wednesday that the authorities identified the new cases after collecting 31,626 on November 15.

Currently, 195 people are hospitalized in Quebec due to COVID-19, and 47 people are receiving treatment in Intensive Care Unit.

Fifteen patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours while 20 others were discharged. Four people were admitted to ICU in the past 24 hours and as many others were discharged.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec also added that 9,212 doses of COVID-19 were administered, including 8,413 doses in the last 24 hours and 799 before November 16, for a total of 13,426,694 doses administered in Quebec.

Outside Quebec, a total of 226,770 doses of COVID-19 were were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,653,464 doses received by Quebecers.
