Quebec reports over 800 new cases of COVID-19 over a 24-hour period

Quebec is reporting over 800 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over a 24-hour period.

The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec said Saturday the authorities identified 815 new cases of COVID-19 across the province in the last 24 hours.

The ministry also added that the three additional deaths were also reported due to COVID-19 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the ministry, said 201 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19 in Quebec, including 156 non-ICU and 45 ICU patients.

Quebec on Friday reported 745 new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths over a 24-hour period.
