The Toronto Police have arrested and charged a 62-year-old man for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old on multiple occasions.
“Between December 2013 and October 2021, a man worked as a Superintendent in a residential building in the Kingston Road and Galloway Road area, employed by BC Property Maintenance,” the Toronto Police said in a news release.
The man, Rolando Yu, 62, of Toronto, allegedly sexually assaulted the teen that he had befriended on multiple occasions, between April 2021 and October 2021.
The officers arrested Yu following an investigation which was launched on October 28, 2021, by members of Sex Crimes – Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, with assistance from officers from 43 Division.
He was charged five counts of Sexual Assault and five counts of Sexual Interference.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 4 p.m. in courtroom 407.
