Saskatchewan reports 601 new COVID-19 cases and 10 additional deaths


Saskatchewan is reporting 601 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 10 additional deaths over a 24-hour period.

According to a statement released by Government of Saskatchewan, 520 of the new cases were identified in individuals who are not vaccinated.

The statement further added that 13 new cases were identified in partially vaccinated individuals while the remaining 68 cases were identified in fully vaccinated individuals.

Furthermore, the Saskatchewan Government said 307 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19, an increase of 12 as compared to Wednesday.

The Saskatchewan Government also added that 10 additional deaths were also reported in the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 695.
