Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible 7 production halted in UK due to COVID test


The Paramount Pictures Corporation has halted production on the British set of Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible 7 after a member of the production tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). (Paramount)

A Paramount spokesperson on Thursday confirmed that they have have temporarily halted the production, according to Associated Press.

“We have temporarily halted production on ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ until June 14th, due to positive coronavirus test results during routine testing,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

The statement further added “We are following all safety protocols and will continue to monitor the situation.”

This comes as the fil paused production in Italy in February 2020 because of the pandemic but resumed in October.

The =movie is scheduled to be released in May of 2022.
