Toronto Police: 4 arrested, firearms and Narcotics seized following Project Malibu investigation


The Toronto Police announced Tuesday that the investigators arrested four individuals l, including young individual following Project Malibu investigation.

The Toronto Police in a statement said members of the Toronto Police Drug Squad commenced an investigation involving the trafficking of Firearms and Narcotics in the Thorncliffe Park neighborhood of Toronto, in September 2021.

The statement further added that a group of individuals were actively involved in the sale of cocaine and fentanyl in the Thorncliffe Park area.

The same group were involved in the trafficking of firearms in the Thorncliffe Park area

The statement further added that a man was also involved in an incident where a firearm was discharged in the Thorncliffe Park area on Monday, October 18, 2021

As a result of the investigation, officers seized four firearms along with ammunition, the Toronto Police said, adding that a quantity of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine was also seized with an estimated value of more than $1.26 million

On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, the officers arrested four individuals including, Ammar Patel, 18, of Toronto, Muhammad Hassan, 23, of Toronto, Marjan Samir, 19, of Toront, and a 17-year-old individual, the Toronto Police added.

The Toronto Police also added that two men are still wanted by police. They have been identified as Nabeel Kabli, 18, of Toronto, and Shafiullah Abdulrashid, 19, of Toronto.
