Toronto Police appeal for public help in sudden death investigation


The Toronto Police have appealed for public assistance in a sudden investigation after a man found with unknown injuries died in the hospital before giving a statement.

According to a statement released by Toronto Police, on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at approximately 12:15 p.m., police were called to the Victoria Park Avenue and Finch Avenue East area for a man found on the roadway

The statement further added that the man was found by a passerby in the south west corner of the intersection who was conscious but unable to communicate at the time.

The paramedics transported the man to hospital with unknown injuries, and a short while later, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital, the statement added.

Police are appealing for information from the public to assist with this ongoing investigation, the Toronto Police said, adding that anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-3200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
