The Toronto Police have arrested a man in connection with the child pornography investigation.
“On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, officers from Sex Crimes – Child Exploitation Section executed a warrant in the Warden Avenue and Steeles Avenue East area,” the Toronto Police Service said in a statement.
The statement further added that the police found a quantity of images and video of child sexual abuse on a computer during the search operation.
As a result, the police charged Thomas Yau, 29, of Toronto, with five counts of Possession of Child Pornography, five counts of Accessing Child Pornography, and our counts of Make Child Pornography Available, the, the statement said.
The Toronto Police also added that Thomas appeared in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 10 a.m., via video link.
