Toronto Police identify victim of fatal stabbing outside Victoria Park Collegiate Institute


The Toronto Police identified the victim of a fatal stabbing which occurred outside Victoria Park Collegiate Institute on Tuesday.

According to a statement released by Toronto Police, the officers located officers located a 15-year-old boy with a stab wound to the torso outside of the institute after responding to the incident at 3:03 pm.

The statement further added that the boy was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he was pronounced deceased.

The officers located two other boys suffering from stab wounds, including a 16-year-old and 14-year-old boy who were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Maahir Dosani, 15, of Toronto, the Toronto Police said.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Police, said a 19-year-old man, Ahmed Rafin, 19, of Toronto, was arrested nearby and charged with Second Degree murder.

He is scheduled to attend court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in room 306.
