Toronto Police identify victim of the year’s second homicide


The Toronto Police on Tuesday identified the victim of the year’s second homicide as Brittany Doff of Toronto.

According to a statement released by Toronto Police, the officers located the victim after responding to a radio in the Clinton Street and College Street area on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 7:51 p.m.

The statement further added that the woman was located without vital signs and was taken to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.

She has been identified as Brittany Doff, 30, of Toronto, the police said, adding that on Monday January 3, 2022, Kadeem Nedrick, 30, of Toronto was arrested in connection with her death.

Nedrick has been charged with Second Degree murder and was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 10 a.m., in room 111.
