Toronto Police release identity of Redpath Avenue homicide victim


The Toronto Police on Saturday released the identity of a homicide victim found dead in an apartment at Redpath Avenue.

“On Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 2:04 p.m., police attended 88 Redpath Avenue for a suspicious incident call,” according to a statement released by Toronto Police.

The statement further added that the officers received a complaint for a suspicious incident in an apartment unit.

The officers arrived on scene and were met at the door to the unit by a man who refused them entry.

However, the officers gained entry to the apartment and located a person inside who was deceased, the Toronto Police said, adding that an autopsy was conducted on Friday, December 10, 2021, as a result, the death was deemed a homicide

The victim has been identified as Inderpreet Singh Manget, 28, of Toronto.

The Toronto Police also added that Theodore Ramsey, 41, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.

He will attend College Park court on Thursday, December 23, at 9 a.m., in room 505.
