Toronto Police release photo of man wanted for second degree murder


The Toronto Police on Tuesday released the photo of a man wanted for second degree murder in connection with the death of a 60-year-old woman.

“On Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 6:13 p.m., police attended a medical complaint call at 18 Stanmills Road,” the Toronto Police said in a statement.

The statement further added that a woman was found at the bottom of a set of stairs without vital signs and was pronounced deceased.

The woman has been identified as Rose Di Pinto, 60, of Toronto, the Toronto Police said, adding that an autopsy was conducted on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, and the Homicide Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.

The Toronto Police also added that John Di Pinto, 55, of Toronto, is wanted on a warrant in the first instance for Second Degree Murder and police are seeking information as to his whereabouts.
