Toronto Police seeking ‘violent and dangerous’ man wanted in assault investigation


The Toronto Police are seeking public’s help to locate a ‘violent and dangerous’ man wanted in an assault investigation.

According to a statement released by Toronto Police, Alexander Herten-Greaven, 40, of Toronto, is wanted for four counts of failure ot comply with probation.

The statement further added that the man allegedly assaulted a woman in a building in Edgewood Avenue and Dundas Street East area, on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 2:08 am.

The Toronto Police also added that Alexander was earlier charged with assault in connection with an assault incident which took place on August, 2019.

“On Monday, August 12, 2019, at 9 a.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in the George Street and Dundas Street East area,” the Toronto Police said, adding that Alexander allegedly struck the woman following an arguement.

He was subsequently convicted for the assault and was ordered to have no contact with the victim, the Toronto Police added.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Police, said Alexander is known to be violent and dangerous, urging the public not to approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately, if they located him.
