Two pedestrians sustained serious injuries following a two-car collision in Toronto city this afternoon.
The Toronto Police said the collision happened shortly after two p.m. in the vicinity of Richmond Street and Yonge Street.
One of the cars flipped over following the collision while the car was pushed off roadway, striking two pedestrians.
The Toronto Police also added that the officers were assisting with two emergency runs and fire crews were trying to free one of the drivers who was trapped in his car following collision.
In a separate statement, the Toronto Police, confirmed that six other pedestrians were also injured following the collision.
Earlier, an individual sustained serious injuries after being struck by a train in St. George Subway Station.
According to Toronto Police, the incident occurred around 10:50 a.m., resulting into power outage in train station.
