Vancouver Police investigating the city’s 17th homicide of the year


The Vancouver Police announced late on Saturday that they are investigating the city’s 17th homicide of the year.

“VPD officers were called yesterday at around 11 a.m. after 77-year-old Justis Daniels was found deceased inside a home near West 3rd Avenue and MacDonald Street,” the Vancouver Police said in a statement.

The statement further added that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

The Vancouver Police also added that the investigators are looking for dash-cam footage and witnesses who were in the area of Tatlow Park and the adjacent streets of Point Grey Road and West 3rd Avenue between Balaclava and MacDonald streets between 7 a.m. on December 9 and 11 a.m. December 10.
